I was lucky enough to purchase a used Good Dog Boat recently. The boat is light, fast, and extremely stable. Coupled with a new Torqeedo 801 Base Travel electric motor, it covers mile after mile quietly cruising at 6mph. The hull design is very seaworthy, and doesn’t miss a beat in choppy open water conditions that I would not even consider negotiating in a canoe. Fits perfectly in the back of a compact pick-up truck, and is very easy to hand-launch. A great boat!
