Sevylor makes a pretty decent inflatable for the price. Had an Intex Seahawk 500, 11′, with motor mounts sporting a Motor Guide 30 lb., thrust electric used for fishin’ ponds, private lakes and rivers (slow movin’ kind). If one cannot afford a vessel/boat and all the stuff that follows ie., gas engine, boat trailer, registration etc., then YES their worth gettin’. Sevylor and Intex run hand in hand in quality. Bout’ the best inflatable one can get off the market be the Sea Eagle brand (link) butttttttt, we’re talkin’ some money. One draw- back on inflatables is the air, ya’ know as in treble hooks and rubber are not compatible. With good common sense one can avoid problems regarding’ that< );-3

Sevylor isn’t known to be the top brand for inflatable boats but they are decent and you would likely have no problem using one for fishing. I know of a few people who fish in inflatables and have had no problems. I think common sense will keep you okay and they are great because they aren’t too pricey.
If you would like a few other options check out this site as they list a bunch of inflatable kayaks and boats that are ideal for fishing.
