you can get them off ebay used for 200 to 400 (usually), I bought two NIB, one I paid 475 for, the other was 570. To big to cast. Has to be drop fishing, drift fishing, or fishing where you take the bait out in a kayak or small dingy and drop the weight and bait off. Comes in handy for those application b/c it holds so much line, you can ride your bait out several hundred yards. Mine is spooled with 1400 yards of 250lb spectra braided line, thats about 250 yards shy of a mile.
