Where should I go to find the best deal on a great Alaskan Fishing Trip?
Posted on Oct 05, 2009 under Fishing Trips | 4 CommentsMy Dad and I have always dreamed about taking a fishing trip to Alaska someday. I have noticed over the last few months that although my Dad is still healthy and active he is slowing down a little bit. I want to make this dream a reality for my Dad, but I don’t have an unlimited budget to take the trip, so I need to find the best deal possible, I made the decision to plan the trip yesterday so I have done just a little bit of looking around on the internet, but I know that with all of the brilliant people at Yahoo! Answers that I will at least be pointed in the right direction. Thanks for your help, and thank you for your answers.

I was looking a while back for trips and came across these guys. I’ve since done a little research on them and most people who go trough them seem to be happy. Their discount packages start at $785 for a week per person (3 days guided Kenai River fishing), and their premium packages go up to $1195 for a week per person (3 days on the Kenai, one day in the ocean for salmon and/or halibut, and one fly-in day trip to a remote location). None of the prices include food (as many do not), but the cabins they have have BBQs and all the cooking amenities you need. When my father in law and I go in a year or two, I will likely be going through them.
