There are many shark species that live in shallow waters off Florida Beaches. In the winter months, the blacktip sharks migrate and congregate on Florida’s East Coast.

You can cast far with a surf rod. I use a 7ft leader and a 6oz pyramid.

@BlacktipH Go the Fin-Nor! I have an 8500 and love it! It holds 500 m of 99lbs braid. I thought the 9500 was a bit big, but im buying one anyway.
