those brook trout are beautiful and perfect eating size!the deadfall trap idea was easier than most that I’ve seen but I would’ve used domething heavier! this guy’s cool and I know he’s just giving examples,but wherever he’s @,notice all the clearing’s.lol look’s like a campground or something..try using live b8 that u find also,will catch more fish! screw those “leeewaaahrs”!also you will have more room in your kit just packing hook’s(old washers 4 weight or corks 4 float’s)

@balado1988 that may be true, but i know nothing of Mears and his accomplishments. All I know is that Bear’s survival of the French Foreign Legion training makes me believe he could last a year in the wild. the show is called escape to the legion and you can watch it on youtube.

@kill3rm4la no its not impossible he makes a canoe out of birch bark and its on youtube. that trap probably wouldnt kill the squirrel but it would deffinetly trap it.

@kill3rm4la agreed. bear is one of the youngest brits to climb everest and he also completed training with the french foreign legion among many other accomplishments. he has gone through more trials and tribulation and has experienced the world over. much more so i believe than this ray mears. bear is a beast!
