Kidna was hoping there would be a Tuna in the clip considering there was a tuna in the picture

This just reminded me of something that I think is a riot. Funny how everyone starts yelling a fisherman and telling him what to do when he gets hooked up. I guess if you don’t have a fish hooked you’re an expert.

@AddictiveFishing Love your show. Nice fish! Actually, if the hoos are solid enough to target for trolling I bet I’ll hook more fish on a jig than trolling 2 rods in a 6 hour period. Let’s do a show in the Keys next fall you troll two rods I’ll fish the same area 1 rod vertical jigging. The one with the fewest bites buys gas. Cutoffs are the disadvantage as they often strike as they chase it vertically downward but quantity of strikes makes up for it. Try it. Hoos crush jigs if they are there.

@animator995 If you get lucky, you might be able to catch a wahoo jigging, but trolling is the preferred way.

@rocy818 The reel on this show was a prototype from Wright & McGill. They did NOT go into production with it.

can you catch wahoo while jigging?
October 2nd, 2011 at 7:21 am
Hey! I really like your video. You should think about submitting it to the Mercury Film Festival, starting June 3rd. You could win a free outboard or a fishing trip. You can find more information about rules, prizes, and eligibility at the Mercury Marine website.
Good luck!

Great Wahoo Capt. Blair, shoot me a message if you ever want to catch some Bull Reds at Mosquito Lagoon. They seem to be running year round. Found a great spot. My buddy Wild Bill pulled in a 49″ the other weekend!
