@Jakev1023 Hi yes light weight lure are ok, but the heavier the lure the longer the cast. You’ll always cast a 1/2oz spinnerbait further than a 1/4oz spinnerbait.

@blinkforminnows Hi NO it’s a baitcaster rod. You’d have to use a spinning rod if your looking at using a spinning reel.

February 25th, 2011 at 2:17 pm

Yes you sure can, good luck and tight lines.
February 25th, 2011 at 5:15 pm
can you use a graphite pole for catfish
February 25th, 2011 at 6:04 pm
Yes you sure do if there is a differance in weights, if there the same round about weights you get away with early feathering the spool.
February 25th, 2011 at 6:24 pm
now do you have to adjust your spool tension after putting different lures on?!?!?!?!
February 25th, 2011 at 6:32 pm
Check the magnetic backlash adjustment is turn right down and adjust center fiction spool knob until lure drops, keep adjusting until lure drops.

Depends on the knot you tie as some will snap the mono. I try not to use mono as it’s way to soft for braid and only use flurocarbon as it alot harder. Try a albright knot as this may not snap the line.
