is there good inland saltwater fishing in North Carolina about the last two weeks of march?

i’m in college and that is when our spring break is. i have about a 14 foot skiff i was wanting to know about the fishing on the inlets and streams. i always go in the summer and fall, but i’ve never been this early. any help is appreciated. i was kinda hoping for some redfish to be running but i didn’t know.

From Oregon Inlet to Buxton Point on the outer banks, you have a good chance of finding schools of huge bluefish..Some of the best fishing I have had for blues was the last week of March on the South Point of Oregon Inlet…I saw a very nice Red Drum caught under a school of Blues one time…The traditional sloughs near Avon, and the "Point" itself will probably have large Reds, though scattered. Salt water Striped Bass (Rockfish) also sporadically visit the inlet, with some of the largest of the season there in March…A 14 foot boat is not a good craft for Oregon Inlet, seaward of the bridge. When the wind is in and the tide runs out, it is treacherous…Also large speckled trout frequent the rocks bolstering the bridge abutments on the south side…
