I live in northern Mn. This time of year I have been using Rapala shad raps. Both trolling and casting into wind blown points. I also use a jig and a large minnow, as well as a slip bobber with a large minnow. Hope this helps.

In the summer when my family goes to Canada, trolling a 3 hook worm harness just kills ‘em. We catch them from 30-70 foot deep areas, with lines 20-50 ft down.

If your fishing for walleye from 10 inches to like 18 I usally use a smaller jig head with any color little rubber minnow on the end i’ve caught lots this way but if your fishing for big walleye you can use a silver rapala husky jerk. Or you just take a dead fish and hook a jig head through its mouth and just scoot it across the bottom of the lake, stream ect. Hope this helps and good luck.
